We participated as a speaker in the 42 Türkiye Connect event series. In our session titled "From Developer to Architect: Thinking with Integration and API," we shared the architectural perspective beyond technical depth, API-first thinking, and scalable system design experiences with 42 students.

DigitalCosmonot participated as a speaker at the 42 Türkiye Connect session held on January 14, 2026, at Bilişim Vadisi İstanbul Entrepreneurship Office. In the Connect event series, where 42 Türkiye brings industry professionals together with its students, Selim Çalık shared his experiences on the transition from software development to software architecture and integration-first thinking.
The difference between developing software and designing systems cannot be explained by technical skill level alone. Architectural thinking requires approaching a problem not within the scope of a single application, but through the lens of how systems communicate with each other, how data flows, and how to adapt to changing requirements. In this session, we illustrated how this perspective shift occurs through examples from our own career journey.
42 Türkiye is one of the most innovative educational institutions in the software world, differentiating itself from traditional education models with its student-centered, project-based approach. The Connect series, in line with this vision, brings industry professionals directly together with students. Meeting face-to-face with future software architects to share our experiences was a tangible reflection of the importance DigitalCosmonot places on knowledge transfer.
The event was held at Bilişim Vadisi İstanbul Entrepreneurship Office (İstanbul GO). The hospitality of Bilişim Vadisi, Turkey's technology and innovation hub, added distinct value to the session. We extend our gratitude to the 42 Türkiye team and Bilişim Vadisi for making this inspiring gathering possible.
